We are excited to donate to One Tree Planted as they work globally to plant trees and reforest land through their community partnerships in 82 countries. Since 2014, they have planted 135.5 million trees! One Tree Planted pledges to plant a tree for every dollar donated. Because most of our products currently are made by women artisans from women-led cooperatives in Guatemala, we want to complete the community circle and re-invest in women in the community. MAIA is an incredible organization led by Indigenous Guatemalan women and provides education and leadership training for young Indigenous girls and women near Lago Atitlan in Guatemala.
